Project Description:
Upgrade of the Macrossan and Owen Street Intersection at Port Douglas including pavement and drainage improvements
Scope:
Detailed road excavation, subgrade treatment, culvert installation and extensions, pavement construction, bituminous surfacing, kerb and channel, paver installation, landscaping and line marking
Challenges:
Working within close proximity to shops required additional planning and care to maintain pedestrian access
