Project Description:
Pavement rehabilitation of Golden Mile Road, Dysart Qld for a section of 3km's which has experienced horizontal movement and pavement failure - for Isaac Shire Council
Scope:
Traffic control, environmental management, clearing and grubbing, topsoil stripping, road excavation, embankment construction, subgrade treatment, culvert extensions, pavement construction, in-situ stabilisation, bituminous surfacing and road furniture.
Challenges:
A complex traffic management strategy including a combination of side tracks and single lane closures enabled the full 3km's to be worked on simultaneously, increasing productivities and ensuring the project was delivered within councils timeframe.
