Project Description:
Replacement of an existing 4 cell reinforced concrete box culvert with a new 4 cell structure including traffic staging.
Scope:
- Demolition of existing structure,
- Construction and removal of side track for traffic,
- Preparation of subgrade,
- Construct base slab, aprons, cut off wall, end walls,
- Installation of pre-cast crown units,
- Construction of new road pavement
Challenges:
Staging the works in order to minimise disruption to traffic whilst maximising resource efficiency/utilisation.
