Description:
Gravel re-sheeting to the running surface of existing road to reinstate the correct road profile.
Scope:
Stripping of grass, table drain construction, scarifying and preparation of existing formation, earthworks, winning gravel from nominated pit, load, cart and place gravel to prescribed profile.
Challenges / Value Add:
An existing gravel pit with larger, harder gravel material was to be used. Having worked with similar material in the past, our Engineers developed a methodology that ensured efficient installation whilst maintaining longevity and superior readability.
