Durack Civil was contracted by Toowoomba Regional Council to rehabilitate 7 local roads using insitu cement stabilisation methods and drainge repairs.
The works included mix design sampling and testing to determine an optimised cement mix for the local insitu gravel material. Lime supply was limited so it was challenging to establish a more readily available cost effective mix for the works.
All up Durack rehabilitated approx 12 km of local road in a short 2 month window.
Roads included: Bowenville Moola Road, Dalby Nungil Road, Leslie Bridge Road, Southbrook Road and Duke St
The scope also included reconstruction of numerous culvert headwalls and broken pipe/box culvert structures.
