James Durack

Director

James is a multitalented Civil Engineer with a career that spans 14 years designing and constructing mine infrastructure projects for resource sector clients to successfully managing large-scale civil engineering projects for Local and State Government authorities. James has extensive major project management experience working to DTMR and QR specifications on civil construction projects ranging from 1 million to 350 million. Exceeding both Community and Client expectations, James consistently delivers complex civil construction projects under budget and on time.

Bianca Durack

Cost Control/Environmental Management

Bianca is a highly capable Engineer with outstanding skills in providing both civil and environmental expertise on civil road, rail and mining construction projects. Working on a diverse range of construction projects valued from 1 million to 350 million, Bianca has gained extensive experience in the construction of bridges, bulk earthworks, pavement, surfacing, drainage and utilities - working to DTMR, RMS, QR and local council specifications. Bianca has been working with Durack Civil since inception. In this role she has been responsible for both the administration of tenders, as well as financial management. 

Heath Ferguson

Estimating

Heath is a highly motivated Civil Engineer boasting specialist experience in bridge construction, complex drainage infrastructure, design and construct projects including road and rail infrastructure. Proficient in areas of Project Management, Engineering, Operations, Asset Management, developed in the early stages of his career with Thiess and Golding Contractors, and honed in to deliver excellence with the medium sized civil contractors Brown Contactors and Durack Civil. Heath brings his complex infrastructure experience to Durack Civil where he efficiently and safely delivers civil projects for Councils and State Authorities.

Jarryd Dewar

Project Management

A results orientated project management professional with a career predominantly within the Civil Engineering and Construction sector. Proficient in areas of Project Management, Engineering, Operations, Accounting, Asset Management & HR stemming from working with industry names such as FKG & Golding Contractors, Brown Contractors, Fabritecture & Durack Civil. 

Andrew Brown

Pre-Contracts Manager

Over the past 14 years Andrew has achieved in a broad range of positions within the construction and engineering industry. His knowledge and experience have seen him successfully undertake senior roles in Consulting, Project Management and Estimating in the United Arab Emirates and Australia.

Previously Andrew has worked on several unique projects including marinas, service stations, highways, desalination plants, dredging projects, subdivisions, petroleum pipelines, terminals and wharf facilities.

He has also previously managed a successful retail business which required the establishment of new production processes and partnerships with manufacturers overseas, conceiving marketing strategies and building a distribution network that saw the products sold globally. The products were sold in over 30 countries and clients included Rebel Sport, Tommy Bahama and several hundred independent retailers.

Andrew has the ability to analyse and resolve complex issues quickly and accurately. He excels managing both the detail and the ‘big picture’. He is a motivated team player, with a reputation for perseverance and an ability to motivate his team to achieve success in a highly competitive industry.

Jason Hedges

Civil Supervisor

Jason has over 15 years-experience in all aspects of the construction industry specialising in pavement construction to both QLD and WA Main Roads specifications. Jason is a multi-skilled operator with experience on graders (various models and sizes), excavators and rollers.
