Noosa Shire Council engaged Durack to reconstruct a 2.4 km segment of Federal Middle Creek Road in Federal Queensland.
With limited funding available, Durack assisted Noosa Council to better optimise the design and develop cost effective solutions in order to achieve the design intent.
The works included reshaping existing batters and drains to allow for a wider, safer road profile and strengthening of the existing road subgrade by incorporating lime stabilisation treatments.
A number of service clashes were managed by the Durack team including complex tree clearing and bitumen seal works.
