Durack Civil was engaged by Byron Shire Council to widen and seal 1 km of Grays Lane Tyagarah NSW in order to improve road user safety and reduce local dust issues.
The scope of work included raising the existing road profile to increase flood immunity and all weather access - cut to fill using local road base for subgrade, import and lay subbase and base course layers, raise existing culvert endwalls, new pipe installation and bitumen seal.
Through superior planning, Durack was able to maintain efficient traffic flow through the works whilst ensuring a premium finish and pavement longevity.
