Project Description:
Construction of a new precast box culvert structure and associated road approach works over Blindmouth Creek / Main Arm Road, Main Arm.
Scope:
- Demolition of existing structure;
- Supply and construction of a new precast reinforced concrete box culvert structure and associated creek works, scour protection and rip rap;
- Supply and construction of road approaches approximately 120m either side of the crossing including improvements at the intersection of Main Arm Road and The Pocket Road;
- Supply and Construction of kerb and gutter, footpaths and parking improvements at Main arm village, intersection with Blindmouth Road.
Challenges:
Construction within a major waterway whilst accomodating existing local traffic
