Durack Civil was engaged by Gladstone Regional Council and DTMR to upgrade an existing 4 way intersection on the Dawson Highway and Drynan Drive.
The new design included signalising the upgrade intersection to provide greater safety to road users. Durack delivered electrical trenching and under-bore, lighting, traffic signal works, pavement widening, major asphalt overlay, linemarking, tree clearing and bulk earthworks.
The works involved complex traffic management requiring traffic modelling and staging design to limit traffic queuing.
