Scope

Durack Civil was recently contracted by Department of Transport and Main Roads (DTMR) to undertake betterment works on the Castlereagh Highway. This project included works across 8 different sites with upgrades to over 15 culvert crossings, floodway improvements, scour protection with rock, concrete canvas or concrete paving, in-situ stabilised subgrades & pavements.

The scope of works included demolition, clearing & grubbing, multiple large drainage structures including box culverts & concrete pipes, drainage repairs, rock protection, earthworks, prime & double/double bitumen seal, road furniture and delineation, lime stabilised subgrade/subbase, cement stabilised base, hand paved concrete/concrete canvas scour protection & culvert cleanouts.
