Scope

Durack Civil has been engaged by Port of Brisbane Pty Ltd to deliver the construction of new road infrastructure, stormwater drainage, bulk earthworks, and associated services for the extension of Lucinda Drive and Curlew Street here at Fisherman Island.

These works are a key part of the Future Port Expansion, supporting the ongoing growth and connectivity of one of Queensland’s most important trade gateways. The project involves earthworks, pavement construction, and drainage upgrades to create two new road corridors that seamlessly connect into the existing network. Our team is also delivering sewer, water, power, and lighting services, along with signage, line marking, and landscaping to bring the precinct together with a clean, professional finish. Strict environmental and biosecurity controls, including fire ant management and erosion controls, have been implemented to meet Port of Brisbane’s requirements and maintain full compliance across the site.

Working alongside a client like Port of Brisbane is something our team takes great pride in. It showcases the strength of our southeast qld team, a crew known for their capability, collaboration, and attention to detail on complex civil projects. For us, it’s not just about building roads, it’s about building relationships, delivering quality, and helping shape the future of Queensland’s infrastructure.
