Scope

Isaac Shire Council contracted Durack to reconstruct and seal 3 sections of the DTMR Clermont Alpha Road that links Clermont to Alpha Qld.

The 5.5 km of upgrade works included large and detailed drain and batter cuts and realignment of the road profile or road safety. Works also included loading and hauling 15,000 t of type 3.2 road base material from a TMR pit to the site for construction of the base course layer. Pipe culvert extensions were also required including custom cast inset endwalls to suit the new batter slopes.

With TMR as the asset owner, all works were completed to TMR specifications.
