Scope

Durack Civil was engaged by Brisbane Airport Corporation to deliver the Traffic Safety and Drainage Restoration Project, comprising targeted safety and drainage upgrades across multiple locations within the Brisbane Airport precinct. The project is designed to improve road safety, traffic operations, and drainage performance while maintaining uninterrupted airport operations and minimising disruption to stakeholders.

The scope of works includes installation and modification of safety barriers, associated civil works, and traffic management, along with restoration of perimeter drainage infrastructure including culverts, drains, and weirs. Additional works include earthworks, spoil management, erosion and sediment controls, and reinstatement of disturbed areas.

Delivered within a live, high-risk operational environment, the project requires careful coordination, staged delivery, and strict adherence to Brisbane Airport Corporation standards and procedures. All works are undertaken with a strong focus on safety, operational continuity, and compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements.
