Scope

Durack Civil has been engaged by Byron Shire Council to deliver the Tennyson Street Extension Project, a critical infrastructure upgrade aimed at enhancing connectivity, public space utility, and emergency access in Byron Bay. The project involves the extension and upgrade of Tennyson Street, linking it with Gilmore Crescent to provide a vital access route for emergency services while improving overall traffic flow. Given the high-traffic nature of Byron Bay, careful planning and execution will ensure minimal disruption to residents and businesses, with a strong focus on maintaining continuous pedestrian and vehicle access throughout construction. Durack Civil is committed to delivering a high-quality and sustainable outcome that strengthens Byron Bay’s transport infrastructure while prioritising community needs.

We are excited to kick off this project in the Northern Rivers as we continue to expand our commitment to the region. With significant flood recovery projects now moving forward, we look forward to playing a key role in restoring and enhancing infrastructure across the area, ensuring lasting benefits for the communities that need it most.
