DTMR Gold Coast Slips

Durack Civil was engaged by the Department of Transport and Main Roads to deliver restoration works under the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) following severe storm and rainfall events across South East Queensland. The project involved remediation of widespread damage to the road network across the Gold Coast, Logan City, and Scenic Rim regions.

The works comprised slip remediation and stabilisation across approximately 77 sites of varying size and complexity, including soil nailing, shotcrete and wire mesh installation, scaling and removal of unstable material, culvert repair and replacement, and reinstatement of slope failures using rock protection and gabion systems.
