Southern Bollon DRFA Reconstruction

Durack Civil has been contracted by Balonne Shire Council to undertake the Southern Bollon reconstruction works to multiple roads due to the impacts from 2022 SEQ Rainfall and Flooding event.

Conducted heavy and medium formation grading works, importing materials, performed gravel re-sheeting, and carried out extensive bulk earthworks. Adverse weather conditions, particularly wet weather, have significantly impacted site conditions, making it difficult to deliver projects on time. One of the main challenges we encountered was coordinating remotely with the work's main workspace, making it difficult to acquire the right resources for the job. Additionally, the distance between sites posed a challenge for supervisors to efficiently travel to all the job locations.
