DRFA 2022 Landslip & Floodways Pack 03

Durack Civil successfully delivered the DRFA 2022 Landslip & Floodways Package 03 for Scenic Rim Regional Council, a critical flood recovery program spanning five sites. Works included bulk earthworks, road construction, floodway removals and upgrades, reinforced concrete pipe and box culvert installations, FRP concrete, scour protection, fencing, tree removal, and complex landslip remediation.

The package presented challenges such as live traffic, strict environmental constraints, and regional resourcing limitations, but our team navigated them seamlessly through careful planning, collaboration, and a strong focus on community impact. The final site at Back Creek Road, the most complex of the program, was completed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and resilience, restoring vital transport links and strengthening the local road network.
